Program Information

The College of Business Administration (CBA) at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), through its partnership with the Global Campus, now offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree Completion program for students with at least 60 hours of post-secondary course credit.
The BBA Degree has become widely desired by employers in the last decade because it prepares well-rounded employees who can direct all facets of a business. In addition, it:
- Develops critical thinking, problem solving, communication, management and leadership skills
- Exposes students to strategic management, finance, accounting, marketing, management information systems and other functions and processes of an organization
- Provides career change and advancement opportunities to students from a wide variety of backgrounds
The UIC CBA and Global Campus BBA Degree Completion Program:
- Is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)
- Provides a learning environment where theory meets practice
- Is developed and delivered by faculty engaged in cutting-edge research in all areas of business
- Is an online program that promotes flexibility to accommodate your busy schedule and allows you to complete your course work when it is most convenient for you
- Offers two different tracks: a part-time track for those with full-time jobs and other demands, and a full-time track for those who wish to complete the degree in the shortest time possible
The Global Campus:
- Offers student-centered advising by a single advisor from application through graduation
- Offers guaranteed tuition rates for four years from the time you take your first course

Course Starts:
Cohorts for the BBA degree completion program offered through the Global Campus are scheduled to start on the first Wednesdays of September and January each year.

Although, in general, we anticipate that students will take courses with their cohorts in the order prescribed in the curriculum, we understand that life events and other circumstances occasionally will impact your ability to follow your cohort's schedule. Our advisors are prepared to work with you to adjust your course schedule to reflect any changes in your work or life schedules.
Required Campus Visits: 0
Completion Schedules:
Each course session is eight weeks in length. If you take two courses per session, you will be able to complete the BBA degree completion program in 20 months. If you take one course per session, you will receive your BBA degree in 38 months.
