Telecommunication Systems
Topics include components of telecommunications and distributed information systems, data communication devices, computer networks, configuration management and distributed databases.

Management
Data analysis for database design; logical data modeling, transaction modeling; implementation models; physical database design; database tuning and performance evaluation; database decomposition; distributed database; database security.

Survey of statistical methods with applications for business and management.

Infrastructure
The course explores the choices available for building an enterprise application infrastructure. Topics such as advanced application design and development, tools, methodologies and technologies will be covered. Extensive computer use is required.

Design Project (Capstone Course)
Principles and concepts of analysis, design and development of information systems including project management. Includes a project at an outside company or University office.
