Program Information

UIS now offers its Teacher Certification Program in Secondary Mathematics through online courses with minimal visits to campus.

Offered by the College of Education and Human Services, this program will prepare candidates for certification to teach Math to grades 6-12 in the State of Illinois. Candidates for certification will major in Mathematics and minor in Secondary Education or candidates with a Bachelor's degree can take coursework leading to certification from the Illinois State Board of Education.
