Program Information

The Campus Certificate in Public Health Management is ideal for individuals with a bachelor's degree who are currently working in public health, or other related fields, and whose current or future positions require skills in applying a breadth of knowledge and expertise in the basic functions of management.

The certificate program will address the need for professionals to be educated in a foundation of public health practice: the basic functions of management, including planning, organizing, controlling and leading.

The Campus Certificate in Public Health Management targets the needs of the public health practitioners who work in the highly differentiated scope of organizations and institutions which address public health issues. This certificate comprises courses in health administration, strategic planning and budgeting, organizational leadership, and the ethical and effective management of public health resources.
