IBHE Post Master's Certificate in Health Informatics
University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Applied Health Sciences
Program Information
UIC offers an online post-master's health informatics certificate program for self-motivated, experienced professionals in the health care and information technology fields. Students in the certificate program have already attained a master's-level degree and seek to further their educational backgrounds or careers with graduate-level coursework.
The IBHE Post-Master's Certificate in Health Informatics signifies that graduates are conversant in the creation, implementation, operation, and control of health information systems. Coursework emphasizes development of a state-of-the-art skill set and knowledge base grounded in health care information sciences.
Unlike many certificate programs offered by trade associations, for-profit companies, or some university-based short certificate programs, the IBHE Post-Master's Certificate in Health Informatics, like full degree programs at UIC, is approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education.
