The Global Campus in partnership with the College of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago

Advising Services

Exemplary student services distinguishes The University of Illinois Global Campus from other online universities. This service begins from the first time you speak with a Global Campus Advisor.

When you apply, you will be assigned a dedicated Global Campus Advisor who will work with you throughout your time with the university--from admission, to registration, to financial aid, and all the way through graduation. You'll communicate with your advisor through every step of your education with The Global Campus.

Students will register for their first courses via the student portal. Keep in mind that applications received close to the beginning of the intended start term may not be processed in time for you to begin that course. We recommend that your application and all materials be received at least two weeks prior to the intended start of the program.

Once you enroll, our online orientation and tutorials will familiarize you with Desire2Learn, our online learning management system. Our advisors and instructors will advise you of resources available to you, and they will define clear expectations. To make sure your experience is complete, we will provide advising and career counseling from your enrollment and orientation through to your graduation.
